When some pattern design programs convert an image's picture elements (pixels) into squares representing beads (in two dimensions), they introduce distortion because beads are not perfect squares.  The result is that the completed piece will not have the same proportions as the original image.  

Bead Fix has been designed to help you overcome this problem when using Miyuki glass beads.
